1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of steadyandconnected.com.au ("the Site"), the Steady and Connected podcast, the Free Attachment Quiz, the newsletter, and any related digital products or services we offer (collectively, "the Services") operated by Healing via Nature Pty Ltd (ABN 13 117 794 911), trading as Steady and Connected ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing or using the Site or any of the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or the Services.

3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site or the Services. By using the Site, you confirm that you are 18 or older. The Services are designed for adults and are not appropriate for children or adolescents.

4. Description of Services
Steady and Connected provides:
- Psychoeducational content — including the podcast, blog content, newsletter, and digital resources
- A Free Attachment Quiz — designed to introduce attachment-style concepts and provide a personalised, clinically-informed reflection
- Digital products — including workbooks, courses, and membership offerings (when available)
- Information and reflection prompts based on current research in attachment theory, neuroscience, and clinical psychology

Important: What the Services Are NOT
The Services are educational and informational only. They are not:
- A therapy service or substitute for individual psychological treatment
- A diagnostic assessment or screening tool
- A medical service
- A crisis support service
- A replacement for professional advice from a qualified health practitioner

Clinical psychology services with Dr Narelle Duncan are offered separately through Get Life Direction (getlifedirection.com), which has its own terms and policies.

5. No Therapist-Client Relationship
Your use of the Site, the podcast, the quiz, the newsletter, or any other Services we provide does not create a therapist-client, doctor-patient, or any other kind of professional treatment relationship between you and Dr Narelle Duncan or Healing via Nature Pty Ltd.

Receiving general psychoeducation content is fundamentally different from receiving individualised clinical care. Reflections offered through the Services are general in nature and cannot account for your specific circumstances, history, or clinical presentation.

6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, audio (podcast episodes), images, logos, graphics, layouts, and digital products — is owned by Healing via Nature Pty Ltd or licensed to us, and is protected by Australian and international copyright law.

You may:
- Listen to, read, and download content for your personal, non-commercial use
- Share links to our content on social media or in private messages
- Quote brief excerpts with appropriate attribution

You may not:
- Reproduce, republish, or redistribute our content (in whole or substantial part) without our prior written permission
- Use our content for commercial purposes
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works from our content
- Use our trademarks, brand name, or logos without permission
- Use AI tools to scrape, index, or train on our content without permission

7. User Conduct
When using the Site or interacting with us, you agree not to:

- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
- Submit false or misleading information through any of our forms
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Attempt to access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the Site
- Interfere with the security or operation of the Site
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from the Site
- Send unsolicited marketing, spam, or other unwanted communications to us or through us
- Engage in conduct that defames, harasses, or causes harm to Dr Narelle Duncan, our team, or other users

We reserve the right to refuse access to the Services to anyone who breaches these Terms.

8. Paid Products and Services
When digital products (such as workbooks, courses, or memberships) become available for purchase through the Site:
- Prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise specified
- Payment is processed through reputable third-party payment providers, subject to their terms and security
- Access to digital products is granted to the purchaser only and is non-transferable
- Refunds for digital products will be considered on a case-by-case basis in line with the Australian Consumer Law. Generally, where you have not substantially accessed or consumed the digital content, we will provide a refund within 14 days of purchase. Refund requests should be sent to support@steadyandconnected.com.au.
- Faulty or misdescribed products will be refunded or replaced in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Specific terms may apply to specific products. Where they do, the product-specific terms will be made available at the point of purchase.

9. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources (for example, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Get Life Direction, external research sources). These are provided for your convenience.

We do not control these third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms. Your interactions with third-party sites are at your own risk and governed by their own terms.

10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:
- The Site and the Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the operation, availability, accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the Site or the Services.
- We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
- Any reliance you place on the content of the Site is at your own risk. Information may become outdated, and we are not obligated to update it.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded or limited by agreement.

11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Healing via Nature Pty Ltd, Dr Narelle Duncan, and our agents, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or the Services
- Any decisions made or actions taken in reliance on the content of the Site
- Any loss or damage suffered by third parties arising from your use of the Services

Our total liability to you for any cause arising from or related to the Site or the Services is limited to the amount you have paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under Australian law, including consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

 12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Healing via Nature Pty Ltd, Dr Narelle Duncan, and our agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your misuse of the Site or the Services
- Any conduct of yours that violates the rights of a third party or any applicable law

 13. Modifications to the Services
We reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site or the Services at any time, with or without notice
- Restrict access to certain parts of the Site to registered users or paying customers
- Remove or edit content at our discretion

We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Services.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.

15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will indicate when changes were made.

Your continued use of the Site or the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Site and the Services.

16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
