— FLAGSHIP COURSE
Steady & Connected
in Love.
An 8-module course with Dr Narelle Duncan, Clinical Psychologist.

Attachment isn't a life sentence. It's a map, not a verdict.
This is a course on why anxiety lives in the relationship you're committed to —
and the small, practical ways to work with it, at your own pace.
Have your say in the Course build. Wait-list opens early access + founding pricing.
- THE ARC
Four movements,
eight modules.
My clinical and research focus sits at the intersection of anxiety, attachment, and the nervous system — particularly the ways anxiety shows up in committed adult relationships. Communication under stress. Repair after rupture. The specific physiology of feeling unsafe with the people who matter most.
01
Understand
Modules 1-4. Replace the "fixed identity" story with the accurate, hopeful one — and explain the mechanism, so you can stop fighting your own system.
III
Live it
Module 7. Bring the work into the specific relationship you're committed to — bids, repair, needs versus protest.
II
Work with it
Modules 5-6. Settle the body in the moment, and communicate when anxiety is running the conversation.
IV
Steady & Connected
Module 8. Name what steady and connected can look like for you, plan for the flare-ups, and know when to seek individual support.

- WHAT THIS IS
Psychoeducation —
not therapy, not a fix.
A clear, evidence-based way to understand why anxiety shows up in the relationship that matters most —
and a set of small, practical ways to work with it. Taught by a clinical psychologist,
drawn from the same frameworks Dr Narelle Duncan uses in practice.
Not a fix, not a transformation, not a guarantee.
An understanding you can act on, at your own pace.

— THE EIGHT MODULES
Everything inside,
before you decide.
1. The map, not the verdict
What attachment actually is — and what it isn't. The internet has called it a life sentence. It isn't.
2. Your brain on closeness
The mechanism in plain language. The amygdala, the insula, the prefrontal cortex, the vagus nerve — what each is doing in the first ninety seconds after "yeah, fine."
3. Why the one you love is the one your system watches most
Why a safe relationship can put your threat system on highest alert. The proximity, the stakes, the prediction load — and why the watching is because of the love, not despite it.
4. Your anxious pattern, up close
A general picture is one thing; your specific pattern is another. Mapping your version, gently, without judgement.
5. Settling the body
The body comes first. Bottom-up regulation tools that reach the alarm before reasoning can — and how to practise them when you're calm.
6. Communicating when anxiety is running the conversation
What to say when your thinking brain is offline. The pause you design in advance, the script you can lean on, the repair when it goes sideways.
7. The relationship you're in
For staying and steadying — not dating advice. Bids and turning toward. Protest versus need. Repair as the actual relationship skill.
8. Steady & Connected
What steady and connected can look like for you, in the relationship you're in. The honest off-ramp: when to keep going on your own, and when to seek individual clinical support.

— WHO IT'S FOR
For the relationship,
you're committed to.
Written for the woman who already knows the language of anxious attachment, has read the blogs, and has outgrown influencer-grade content. Who wants someone qualified to take her past the vocabulary — into actual change — with the person she is staying with.
This is not dating advice. It is not a partner-fixing course. It is for Steadying and Connecting.
— ABOUT DR NARELLE
Your steady voice —
who happens to have a doctorate.
I'm Dr Narelle Duncan — an AHPRA-registered Clinical Psychologist with a PhD from Griffith University. My doctoral research focused on decentering — the capacity to step back from your own thoughts and feelings — and how it supports coping with interpersonal and romantic relationship stress.
Through Steady and Connected, I bring the clinical depth I use in practice to a broader Australian audience, in plain language. This course is the longest, deepest version of that work.

- PRICING
Thank you to,
the early supporters.
Wait-list pricing is a thank-you to early readers and listeners — not a time-pressure tactic.
It stays open while the wait-list does. AHPRA-safe by design.
— COMMON QUESTIONS
Before you decide.
Will this work if I'm not sure my attachment style is anxious?? Yes. The course covers all four attachment patterns and how they show up in committed relationships. If you find yourself anxious, hypervigilant, or pulling away in your closest relationship, the framework speaks to those patterns regardless of your formal style. The wait-list opens to anyone — you don't need to know your style first.
Is this therapy? No. The course is psychoeducation — clinically grounded, evidence-informed, written in plain language. It gives you the same frameworks and tools registered psychologists use in practice, structured for self-paced learning. It is not a substitute for individual psychological assessment or treatment, and using it does not create a therapeutic relationship.
Do I need to listen to the podcast or do the workbooks first? No. The course stands alone. The podcast is the understanding layer, the workbooks are the practice layer, and the course is the longest, deepest version of both. Most listeners arrive having heard a few episodes — that's enough.
How long does it take? Self-paced. Each module is a handful of short video and audio lessons, designed to be finishable in a sitting. The founding-launch round runs across about 6 weeks with a few live group Q&A calls; the evergreen version is purely self-paced.
What if it's not for me? 14-day refund, no questions asked. Email support@steadyandconnected.com.au.
